I ate so much half the day today … so I am going for YIN yoga at 6pm instead of going out to dinner with Juanita. I haven’t gone Yoga for like 2 weeks [looks like Yoga was on vacation as well] until during my days off i.e last Thursday & Friday. Can’t do those nice poses as nicely as I can do when I go on a regular basis. I want to be able to do a smooth flow again. I’ve got to go earlier than 545pm to class, hmm like 4pm maybe ~ the class is full and I am always late leaving me little or no space at all for my practice! Its a nice day outside, happy to see the sun as always and now missing the Florida weather!!!!
I am trying to create nice slides for the Key West pictures but can’t choose which program works well for more than 50 pictures. I have not blogged about our wonderful times in the Florida Keys yet, its getting too late now … I wish my sister would tell me how I can create a nice slide show … she has a nice site to look at and I’m envious!
You can actually create real nice gallery right from WordPress itself. WP has improved a lot since – there a various options to choose from.
To create the slideshow,
1. you create a post or page,
2. click on “add media” – a pop up page follows, choose “create gallery”,
3. then click “upload pictures” (if you have already uploaded pictures, you search from media library).
4. After you have uploaded pictures, you just clicked on the “create a new gallery” from the right bottom side. This action will bring up another pop up page called “edit gallery” – the interesting part
5. From the “gallery setting”, you choose your preference
– Link to Media or attachment – guess doesnt really matter if you’re selecting
slideshows, havent explored yet
– Column – works when you use option other than slideshow
– random order – havent explored yet
-Type – This is where you chose your gallery presentation – choose
SLIDESHOW if you want to slideshow
You can explore the rest, ive used all of them in my posts – they all look
nice! For instance, if you choose circle, then you picture will appear circle
like here http://blogfinethings.com/2013/01/21/weekly-photo-challenge-
beyond/
6. After you have posted the post, and want to make changes to the slideshow i.e. add or delete picture, you can always do this by going to “edit” , “edit gallery”
Try them out to see how they fit best in tour blog.
Good luck!
Thanks!
